Dramatic Video & Photos

The video below shows examples of the garments described during week five of the Upper Torso (aka Bodice) class. During this fifth week instructions show how to change the fitted sloper into easy-to-sew wearable garments, see also Design Variations from the Upper Torso Sloper.

The Story:
Donna, both an actress and costumer, has been cast as Kate in a production of William Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew." Tomorrow, Saturday, is the first rehearsal of the play which will be a read through of the entire script with the entire cast and producers on hand. Donna draws costumes from her collection to get into the mood for the various scenes she will be reading. To complicate things her boyfriend, who is playing Petruchio, refuses to make any kind of permanent commitment to her.

Donna also has to deal with the boss' son who insists she show up for work tomorrow instead of attending the rehearsal or he will fire her. Donna knows he is making his demand this weekend because his wife and children are out of town on a trip to Jamaica with his father.
